Walk to our reviving Main Street, where you’ll find fine antiques, great food, or a peaceful stroll by the river. You might even take in a movie at our brand-new movie theater (opened this March).

We are two and a half miles from Western Oregon University, and just a short drive to some of the best wineries in Oregon. Enjoy some peaceful “porch time,” or order a gourmet box lunch for a day trip spent exploring the area. INestled in the wine center of Oregon’s picturesque Willamette Valley, Indpendence House is a short drive from Salem, Corvallis and McMinnville. The ocean beaches, Mount Hood and Silver Falls State Park are about an hour's drive away. And if a lazy "Sunday" drive is more to your liking, the Willamette Valley offers wonderful views in all seasons.
